Restore Hope was founded by a group of volunteers living in Switzerland. In November 2021, following an armed conflict in the northern part of Ethiopia, several health facilities we destroyed and many people were affected. Our group together with ilanga, a Swiss based non-profit organization, formed an initiative to help restore those war-torn health facilities. We were determined to be alongside people who were affected by the conflict and left with little or no access to the healthcare. Since then, we work in collaboration with various organizations, individuals and the Ethiopian Diaspora community in Switzerland and elsewhere to accomplish our missions.

Restore Hope's mission is to support health facilities in Ethiopia to provide an enhanced healthcare service to the community.
